Dancehall fans have learned that the Dancehall Connection radio show,
with Hampton Roads dancehall dj Joe Swinger has come to an abrupt end.
If you tune to Norfolk state’s Hot91 (91.1fm, Sundays 4- 6 pm.), you
will hear a new name during the time slot. The new DJ’s name is Big
Brown. We wish Joe Swinger the best in his endeavors and welcome Big
Brown to the reggae and dancehall radio fraternity.
Gregory Ducasse passes.
We join with those remembering the life and works of Gregory “The
President” Ducasse, a writer for West Indian Times online magazine
(President sez!). Mr. Ducasse departed this life on July 9th 2009 @ his
